Lantern registration

The Official Establishment of Lantern Organization Wednesday, 04.12.2024, marked a special day for Lantern, as it officially registered as an organization after two and a half years of continuous efforts in cultural, political, social, and artistic fields, particularly focusing on migrants and refugee camps. The formal meeting to establish Lantern as a multinational organization took place at the Migranetz Office in Weimar, officially initiating the registration process. The initial core team consists of seven members from diverse nationalities, with plans to welcome more members in the future to create a collaborative platform for multicultural communities. The organization aims to address the challenges faced by migrants using culture and art as strong tools to raise awareness, foster solidarity, and improve social conditions. Lantern will continue organizing cultural events, such as theatre, music, poetry, literature, and workshops, to facilitate cultural exchange and connection. It will also tackle political and social issues to amplify the voices of migrants and people in war-torn regions, making their concerns heard globally. Joining the Migranetz family highlights Lantern’s commitment to creating positive changes in the lives of migrants and reinforcing the role of art and culture in solving social challenges.
