Demonstration against extremism in Apolda On 01.02.2025 the AfD youth organization called JA (Junge Alternative) which is known as a far-right extremist group, plans to hold its federal congress in Apolda. They might even give birth to AfDs new youth organization. This congress has to be viewed highly critically as it a gathering of many ambitious and young extremists that oppose every value we as a diverse society stand for. In response therefore numerous organizations and groups that stand for equality, solidarity and resistance against right-wing-extremism have come together to organize a large protest against this congress. 🔵 Lantern Food Project – Saturday, December 14, 2024, Suhl Camp This week, the Lantern team once again visited Suhl Camp with our Food Project to create a memorable and heartwarming pre-holiday experience for our dear refugee friends. With your invaluable support, we aimed to provide a more delightful and comforting day for everyone present. 🍴 Food and Hospitality: We prepared and distributed around 400 falafel sandwiches accompanied by salad and soft drinks. To warm hearts in the cold weather, we also served hot tea, coffee, and fresh cake, which was greatly appreciated by everyone. 🎁 Special Gifts for Children: For the children at the camp, we brought small gifts that lit up their faces with joy and smiles. The Official Establishment of Lantern Organization Wednesday, 04.12.2024, marked a special day for Lantern, as it officially registered as an organization after two and a half years of continuous efforts in cultural, political, social, and artistic fields, particularly focusing on migrants and refugee camps. The formal meeting to establish Lantern as a multinational organization took place at the Migranetz Office in Weimar, officially initiating the registration process. The initial core team consists of seven members from diverse nationalities, with plans to welcome more members in the future to create a collaborative platform for multicultural communities. The organization aims to address the challenges faced by migrants using culture and art as strong tools to raise awareness, foster solidarity, and improve social conditions. Lantern will continue organizing cultural events, such as theatre, music, poetry, literature, and workshops, to facilitate cultural exchange and connection....

Hello to all friends, yesterday on 15/07/2023, we went to Suhl Camp with LANTERN and the Food Project, we served more than 280 meals, which included rice, lentils, ground beef, onions, spices, and Shirazi salad... Thank you a lot of friends who helped us in this program, Mohammad, Arad, Rehab, Judith, Mehdi, Shadab, Wares, Behnam and Amin who took the trouble of the van bus, thank you all🙏💐♥️ سلام به همه دوستان، ما دیروز در تاریخ ۱۵/۰۷/۲۰۲۳ با لانترن(فانوس) و پروژه غذا به کمپ زول رفتیم، بیش از ۲۸۰ پرس غذا سرو کردیم که شامل برنج عدس گوشت چرخ کرده گاو پیاز ادویه همراه با سالاد شیرازی بود... سپاس فراوان از دوستانی که در این برنامه به ما کمک کردند، محمد رحاب، یودیت، مهدی، شاداب، وارث، بهنام و امین که زحمت اتوبوس ون را کشیده بود🙏💐♥️
